Econtainers' recent participation in Breakbulk in Houston, from September 30 to October 2, was an enriching experience that let us connect with key players in the international logistics industry. Our goal as a company was to learn, stay up to date and build strategic alliances that drive our operations forward.

During the show, our CEO Andrés Valencia and our Director of International Logistics Pablo Ramírez took the opportunity to explore the latest trends and technologies in the sector. Benefits for Econtainers: expansion and free storage

One of the most important achievements of our participation was negotiating 30 days of free storage in Miami, a unique opportunity for our customers, especially those handling imports from Asia. This exclusive arrangement lets them make consolidated shipments with coverage across much of the United States, significantly improving the efficiency of their logistics operations.

We also strengthened our strategic relationships for the sale of shipping containers in the United States, exchanging knowledge that will help us improve our practices with SOC (shipper-owned) containers and optimize our dealings with shipping lines. Global companies such as COSCO, MSC and Hapag-Lloyd, as well as major ports such as Everglades and Houston, were present, which made it easy to connect with colleagues and other players in the logistics process, such as freight forwarders and port authorities.
