Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 19, 2026

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. "Local storage" and "session storage" are similar browser features that keep small pieces of data on your device. Pixels and tags are small pieces of code that send information to a service when a page loads. This policy covers all of them.

2. How Econtainers Global Uses Them

  • Strictly necessary items make the shop work (your cookie choice, your cart, sign-in). They do not need consent.
  • Analytics and marketing items are used only after you accept them in the cookie banner. Until then Google's tags run in Consent Mode v2 with every storage type denied, and Metricool and Zoho PageSense are not loaded at all.
  • Optional categories start switched off in the preferences panel; you choose what to turn on.
  • The private staff area of the site loads no analytics or marketing tags.

Preferences in the banner controls Google's functionality and personalization storage under Consent Mode; we set no other preference cookies today.

Other sites. Stripe's checkout page (checkout.stripe.com), Google Maps in the cart and "Sign in with Google" are provided by those companies, which set their own cookies under their own policies.

4. Anonymous Page Counts Without Cookies

So that we know how many people visit and from which channel even when they decline cookies, every page view is added to daily totals. The browser sends only the page path, the site (/us or /global), the device type (mobile, tablet or desktop), the referring site, the campaign source and medium, and the name (never the value) of an ad click parameter. No cookie, no local storage, no identifier, no IP address and no user agent are stored, so two page views cannot be linked to each other or to you.

We also count visits from known search engines and AI crawlers by bot name only; no information about people is involved.

5. Changing Your Choices

Cookie preferences
Reopen the cookie banner to turn analytics, marketing or preferences on or off.

Withdraw consent
Delete your stored choice and our analytics and marketing cookies. The banner will appear again.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Turning marketing cookies off (or never turning them on) opts you out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising under California and other U.S. state laws. The link in the footer opens the same preferences.

Global Privacy Control. We honor the GPC signal: if your browser sends it, marketing cookies stay off whatever you click, and a marketing choice saved earlier is switched off.

Browser settings

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking necessary items may stop the cart or sign-in from working.
